Chocolate LOVERS Cookies

Ingredients:
* 2 1/4 cups flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 2 sticks butter, softened
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 2 large eggs, beaten
* 2 tsp vanilla
* 1 tsp almond extract
* 1/2 cup Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
* 2 cups Ghirardelli 60% cacao chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl stir together flour, salt, and baking soda. In another large bowl stir together butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla, almond extract and cocoa. Gradually stir flour mixture into butter mixture and mix until combined. Stir chocolate chips and distribute evenly.

Drop dough by tablespoonfuls (I use a small cookie/ ice cream scoop) onto greased baking sheets, or on parchment paper, and bake about 10 minutes. Allow to cool 5 minutes and then transfer to cool on a baking rack.

*When taking trays out of the oven the cookies may appear undercooked, they aren't, do NOT return them to the oven. Allow them to cool as instructed and ENJOY!
